The Future

The Agency, in order to implement its objective of realizing effective, efficient, responsive and permanent civil service, considers the civil service reform programme as one of its main instruments. The reform programme is multi-faceted and include the participation of the entire civil service. Towards this end, the commission is empowered to look into the implementation of the Human Resource Management Programme which is a component part of the civil service reform . This programme is composed of:

Job Classification and Grading,

  1. Human Resource Planning,
  2. Selection, Recruitment, Promotion and Transfer,
  3. Remuneration and Conditions of Service,
  4. Performance Appraisal and Time Management,
  5. Civil Service Law and Grievance System and Procedure,
  6. Human Resources Management Information System.

Human Resource Development projects which are now in full swing

It is then hoped that the Human Resources Management Reform Programme, at the end of the day, will produce meritorious civil servants who contribute to efficient and effective delivery of service to the public.
